General Activity:
What is the best bow for beginners in archery?
Beginners should look for bows that are easy to handle and adjustable, such as a compound bow with a manageable draw weight. At Metzger’s Outdoors, we carry a variety of bows perfect for newcomers and offer lessons to help you get started.
How often should you tune your bow?
It’s recommended to tune your bow at least once a year or before each hunting season. Metzger’s Outdoors offers comprehensive tuning and maintenance services to ensure your bow is always in peak condition.
What is the difference between a compound bow and a recurve bow?
Compound bows use a system of pulleys to provide a mechanical advantage, making them more powerful and easier to draw. Recurve bows, on the other hand, are simpler and rely on the archer’s strength. We can help you choose the right bow for your needs at Metzger’s Outdoors
